Connection call
A connection call (AKA a consult call) is an opportunity for us to chat prior to scheduling a therapy session together. You can get a head start on assessing the relational fit, provide a summary of what you're looking to address, and ask any questions that may help you feel more comfortable and informed. I can also begin to evaluate if my skill set, experience, and scope of practice sound like the right match for you. I typically recommend clients have this type of call with all of their top potential therapist choices, if possible. We can connect over the phone or on a video call, depending on your preference and availability.

Intake session
The intake session is just what we call the initial therapy session that we schedule. Since it is our first meeting, it will look a little different than most of our other sessions will, and we will also set aside a little extra time. We'll chat about what's brought you to therapy and what you're hoping to get out of the process. I will be asking more questions during this first discussion, so that I can begin to get a picture of different aspects about you and your life. This process of getting to know each other will definitely continue over multiple sessions.
$175 - 75 minutes

Individual therapy
Your individual therapy sessions after your intake could each look a little different. There are many factors that influence what a particular session will look like, primarily your short-term and long-term needs and goals. This is your treatment, so we will work together to talk about and do what feels most valuable to you. My approach is very collaborative, and my goal is for all my clients to feel empowered in (and out of) their therapy sessions. I don't impose a "curriculum" or a specific topic we'll address for sessions - we'll always spend our time on what matters to you.
$150 - 60 minutes

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
ART is an evidence-based therapy approach that helps change the way your brain and body respond when distressing memories or images are accessed, whether intentionally or unintentionally. This is accomplished through a specific protocol that combines bilateral stimulation (typically through eye movements) with guided imagery and re-scripting. If ART may be beneficial for you, let's chat! I usually see clients for around 4-6 sessions before doing ART, but if you have been seeing another therapist and just want to do ART, we may be able to get started sooner. Sometimes we may benefit from setting aside some extra time for an ART session as well.

Adjusted fee options available
I offer private pay therapy to ensure that we are the only two collaborators in determining what treatment measures are best for you. I also believe that therapy should be accessible for all, so please inquire about a fee adjustment.
